Braiding doubles as abrasion protection as well as a device that will hold a wire together in a tighter more precise bundle. It is applied via specialized machine in a process tailored to our customer’s individual specifications. It is specifically utilized (but not always) in outdoor applications where other products such as corrugated loom or other tubing may retain water in wire loops and other areas. Water will pass through the braiding while still providing abrasion protection. It also can provide a more pleasing aesthetic appearance and more custom finished feel to many designs.
